I also have a bulging blueline, tell GMTM to give me a call, I could unload a bunch of prospects your way. |

Thank you Garth for finally proposing a trade where the Sabres seemingly give up value in #8 and not just a bag of GMTMs pixie dust (Pysyk /Ennis)
Still too presumptuous regarding Vesy and Stammer tho. Boy is Garth going go all "Mike Babcock" on those two when they both end up on TML |

Wouldn't one of the best pp qbs have more than 20 some odd points?
If you pay can 6mm what is RR worth? |

Fowler will be traded for Girgs/Ennis and a lower round Draft pick, or the trade won't happen.
Pick 8 isn't being moved for "Fowler" |

No. No it's not. Something like 8+ Ennis or girgs for Fowler + 24 is what I think will happen. |

Sounds like the Fowler deal is off. Anaheim insists on 8th overall pick, which is ridiculous.
Buffalo to discuss a D-man with Nashville and Minnesota. |

I would of liked to have Fowler but giving up the 8th is too much. Fowler is a liability defensively from what I have read. Who is the source giving you info that Buffalo will be looking at Nashville and Minnesota for a D-man? |

Not sure why you think the 8th overall pick is ridiculous.
What do you expect to get at 8th? |

Someone equal to or better than Fowler?
In my mind, Fowler is a #2/3 D-man with great offensive acumen. Doesn't equate to the 8OA. I would rather stay at 8, grab Joulevi and see if he and Risto can find solid chemistry to be a top pairing. |

You're not wrong, but that doesn't make Fowler worth it either. - SDSabre
Depends what you are looking for.
He's only 24 and a pretty good player. Now he's a UFA in two years but when you see guys like Gudas signing for 3.5 a year...Fowler is a gem at only 4.
I guess it's if you think the Sabres are a playoff team next year then I think you do it (or at least seriously think about it). If not...then it doesn't make a lot of sense. |

Doesn't make Fowler worth it. Risto is better than Fowler, and he was picked three years ago at 8. - SDSabre
Agreed.
But Pouliot was picked the year before. |

And I do not. They might be a bubble team, but that's the next step. Might sneak in at 7/8. Like I said, I want them to draft Joulevi at 8 |

And Yak was a #1 pick. There's no "sure" thing in the draft. For me, Fowler's not worth the potential of getting a compliment to Risto through the draft. Right or wrong, that's how I feel about it. I would love to get Fowler, not for 8 though |

Yeah. He's a no-brainer at 8. I wonder if he gets there though. Not sure he gets by Calgary or Arizona. He'll likely be the first D taken. |

Agreed. Just my hopes. If not, I'll take the other Nylander. That would then require trading for a D-man. Who and how, I do not know. |
